Johnny Olsen

In September 2013, Eclipse lost our friend and drummer Johnny Olsen.

Johnny was a key member of Eclipse from the early years apart from a brief hiatus in 2010.

Johnny's infectious smile brightened any room and his beaming grin will be sorely missed both on and off the stage. His nickname may have been "The Snake" but in reality he could not have been any further from the image the name conjurers. Johnny was always there to help a mate and to do what was right.

A gifted musician, he nailed the intricacies of Pink Floyd perfectly and delivered a consistent and rock solid performance every time. With Johnny's passing, Eclipse lost far more than just our drummer. 

Johnny may no longer be with us in person, but he will always be there in our memories with his giant beaming smile.
